Freshie Art Opportunities with beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

This is the Rock on alternative route for the Coastal Pathway. Two of our members, Felix and Anna Carlyle have suggested that this would be a good location for public art.

This path seen from below the rock has a a high level of pedestrian traffic and, although part of the Palm Beach to Manly Coastal Walk, I don’t think that any artwork has been designated for this site, but it just cries out for “something”.
Newton Bishop is example artist that has created many significant works on the Northern Beaches over several years, the most recent being two full sized crocodiles at the Narrabeen Tramshed Centre. When I showed Newton the site he agreed with it’s special nature and invited me to create some ideas and pass them on to see if we could create some further interest.
